This awesome backpack is made by SoundKase.
It is basically a ruggedized backpack with built in AMP
and Speakers so you can jack in to your MP3 player
or CD player and blast your beats everywhere around you.
It has even more features though, lets take a look.

In The Box:

This came straight from the manufacturer so no pictures of the packaging. This is what your backpack should look like though straight out of the package.

Included with the backpack is apparently a complimentary CDDVD holder for your vehicle's visor.

Also inluded but not shown here is detachable Skate/Snowboard straps. They are padded and made of high quality materials.

Design & Features:

SoundKase's products are packed with features, the SoundSak: SonicBoom backpack is no exception.

Heres a quick rundown of the features:

   So Many Pockets!:

Review of the SoundSak: SonicBOOM
No flash here, picture is closer to its real color.

As you can see in the above picture there are many compartments and pockets to store all your geektech stuff.

Heres a detailed look at the pockets, then we will see how the audio equipment compares to a typical 2.0 speaker setup.

Detachable AudioCamera Pod:

Detachable AudioCamera Pod  The Pod Detached
This is the Detachable audiocamera pod. Could be used as a frisbee
too if you just reaaaallly needed one.

They thought of everything possible. The detachable Pod is endowed with hooks, straps, clips, anything you need to attach it to a different part of the backpack, your belt and it even inludes a easy carry handle .

Holding the Sonic Boom's detachable pod  CD Player and CD Media holder inside the pod
Wow I am hairer than I thought..Ahem.. and on your right,
CD Pockets and more inside the detachable Pod.

Front pocket for AmplifierAccessories:

Being all black on the inside, hard to take a good picture of this
pocket, but I can assure you there are pockets for pens, pencils,
small media players, also a nice Mesh Pouch. Also this is where the
pocket for the Amplifier is.

Main Internal Pouch:

Inside the SonicBoom Another view of the inside.
Looking from the back to inside.   Looking Straight down inside.
The cardboard on the bottom does not have to stay,
just helps keep it stiff if you don't have stuff in it yet.

Observing the inside of the SoundSak: SonicBoom you can see that there is a stretchy pouch on the back side, that is to hold the optional 70oz Water Resovoir. Very similar to those CamelBak things that you can drink out while wearing.

There is even a little hole towards the tope of the backpack so you can route the drinking tube out and around to your face.

On the front side of the inside(say that ten times fast), there is a neoprene pocket to also hold a CD or media player in. Also there are three yellow loops and I have no Idea what they are mean't for but you sure could attach something to them!

Back Side of the SonicBoom, Swiveling Speaker Enclosures:

Here is the back side of the pack...

The back side of the soundsak: sonicboom  here we see how the speakers can fold out.
These Pictures also taken with a flash so you can see the detail.

Notice that it includes the crossing straps and buckles for all the proper support when carrying lots of gear. Just like a decent hiking or school backpack.

The Speaker enclosures are shown flipped outwards. They have buckles and velcro patches to keep them from flipping out when you don't want them to. The purpose of them swiveling outwards is so you can focus the sound all in one direction, then you have kind of a boom box you can sit on the trunk of your car or wherever for a instant party.

Cellphone Pouch, Main Straps, SkateSnowboard Straps:

The cellphone mesh pouch on the straps.  An up close view of the cell pouch

This is definitely a backpack for the urban digital warrior. It even has a nice mesh cellphone pouch on the front left strap. It holds the cellphone tight too so it won't fly out while your bustin a move.

The straps have various hook loops and buckles so you could pretty much attach anything from keychains, cellphones, radios etc etc.

On the very Top of the SonicBoom and very bottom are two sets of buckles for clipping the included SkateSnowboard straps too. They will hold your SkateSnowboard very nicely, they are even padded to prevent scuffing of your precious cargo.

NEXT we will look at the Audio Quality, Speakers and Amplifier. Then our conclusion and score.
