This is one of the most recent colored, flashing devices out.
It is made by ATake and distributed by
WiseTechUSA. Basically
a USB Cable that flashes with lights, available in various colors.
Lets check it out..

In The Box:

Like usual this was sent to me from the distributer so I am not reviewing the shipping package, because it will not be the same as whereever you purchase it from.

The package says Full Activity Flash Cable but its actually the "Flash Pro Cable". They sent me this one before they had a chance to alter the packaging and what not.

I figured after a long trip being mailed here, that it was hungry so I
fed it my computer mouse, thats what the bulge in the USB cable is.

 Design & Features:

The size & thickness of the cable compared to a standard USB cable is roughly the same. The Flash Pro Cable though is Flat, but its not extremely flat.

The cable also seems to be more resistant to kinking than a typical USB cable. It routes very nicely around things. Anyways now on to the Glowy Lights and Geekiness.

Flash Pro Cables also have your high quality gold

Blue Light Special:

I was always told my mom bought me at a Kmart blue light special but that has nothing really to do with the Blue LED and EL lights in the Flash Pro Cable.

Once you see it lit up, you will want to
plug it into everything! Click to zoom in!

Seriously though, I plugged in the cable and when the lights came on it was pretty sweet!

First off its alot brighter than you expect, especially the LEDs at both ends of the Flash Pro. It will light up even when only one end is plugged into the computer.

The flashing effect though is not as great as it could be. It seems that only the EL wire that runs down the middle flashes when there is data activity.

The Flash Pro looks even better when the rest of your PC is
styled with Blue lights, like some sort of Ethereal Blue Geek Energy
is flowing through the bowels of your ultimate code processing powerhouse!

The flashing would look better if the LEDs on the USB Plugs flash too but it appears that only the EL wire flashes. It still looks awesome, just not as cool in a Brighter lit room where its harder to see the EL wire.

Data was transmissed over the Flash Pro Cable fine, just as fast as any other high quality USB cable.

Click to zoom in, looks darker in thumbnails.

When in a jam you can even read by the light emitted from the
Flash Pro Cable. I do this alot when I have to shutdown all the power
in my house and go into "cold mode" because of the robot drones
that pass over using thermal imaging to scan for signs of life.

The robot drones that fly over my house..... No seriously....
My remote surveillance systems took this picture.
Shhhhh they will find me if your not quiet.

Heres the Specifications of the Flash Pro Cable before I forget and then I will sum it all up..
