is the coolest ReplicaToy sword we have ever seen. It is a 1:1
Official replica of the Sting Sword seen in the Lord of The Rings movies. Be sure to download the movie in this review, it can
barely do justice to this masterpiece but its better than the pictures!

 If you get one of these as a gift for someone, especially a LOTR fan, the packaging will inspire them to rip the box open immediately!

Tucked in like a mummy in a tomb.

The packaging is what you would expect for a collectible, designed to prevent any shipping or handling damage. Excellent protection.

The black thing you see laying out is the included display stand for your Sting Sword FX Collectible.

Also included is instructions for care of your sword, questions about it and how to change the batteries.

Now lets take a closer look at this beautiful sword!

When I removed Sting from the box, It looked sharp so I was careful not to cut myself. Then I realized hey its plastic!

It is simply amazing what they did with this sword. From the research I did supposedly they sprayed some kind of Trans-Reflective silver coating, then brushed it to look like brushed steel. If your face is more then a foot away from it, it appears to be steel! The light reflects off it perfectly, everyone I have shown it too believes its a real sword at first.

All the dimensions and measurements of this replica weapon are exactly 1:1 scale with the real movie prop. The elvish language scribed on the blade and hilt look excellent. Nothing looks cheaply made.

Sweet!

The cross guard, handle, pommel all of the hilt really is metal. The handle has a wood grain pattern with silver filigree patterns on it.
I cannot tell if its paint or whatnot, I tried scratching it and it doesn't scratch off whatever it is.

The details are amazing, and are all 100% accurate to the movie.

Also included with the Sting Sword FX Collectible is a plastic display stand made to look like carved stone and wrought iron.

The display stand can be configured for wall mounting or tablestand mounting. To see how it looks in the table configuration scroll up to the top of the review and look at the intro picture.
