This is an interesting item I found while searching the net for weird
stuff. Not really "new" but not many people know about it!

The "Stunning" Ring as its called looks like a typical ring but
inside is concealed a tiny pepper spray canister. The pepper spray canister is replaceable, the ring looks decent but it sounds all kind of dangerous to me having that thing on your finger. I mean what if you need to scratch... okay nevermind.

The ring in its velvet bag along with Instruction Sheet.

Packaging:
I dont actually have a picture of the packaging since I got this item a while back, but all the items came together in a little box wrapped in bubble wrap. It comes with a little velvet bag to hold the ring, instruction sheet & a sheet describing how to replace the Pepper Spray canister.

The other little package has a hex wrench and extra
pepper spray canister "just encase"

Overall it was packaged very nicely and the little velvet bag it comes in was a nice touch.

Features & Observation:

The ring actually looks pretty good but is a bit
bigger than a normal ring, so it looks kinda "goddy" as they say.

Silver plated with a genuine black onyx stone in the middle, the ring looks very real. Well I guess you could say it is a REAL ring it just has a dangerous surprise ! muahaha... sorry I lost control again. Anyways,
the size is the only thing that concerns me, the particular size I ordered was correct but because of the weight of the ring it would tent to slide around my finger. NOT a good thing in the heat of the moment.

The ring comes in just about any size, It comes gold or silver plated.
Now on to the more interesting stuff.

Testing & Conclusion:

This particular "Stunning" ring is quite large , as you can see in the following picture. It is a size 11, the part of the ring that holds the pepper spray canister is what makes it so large.

The yellow arrow points to the hole you use the hex wrench in
to release the pepper spray canister.

The rings firing mechanism is activated by pushing a small button on the end of the spray canister. There is a safety latch that lies underneath the button so that you can't push it accidentally when your scratching your nose or somthing hehe. In the following picture the yellow arrow shows the exit hole for the pepper spray to come out, the Blue arrow shows the button to activate the spray. The green arrows point to the safety latch and point in the direction you must slide it with your thumb.

So its kind of a pull down with your thumb then squeeze motion.
Then you should get the "AUUGH!! MY EYES MY EYES IM BLIND
* COUGH CHOKE* MY LUNGS AHAHHH" effect.

The instruction sheet says the attackers face should be no more than
1 foot away, so apparently you need to have your fist very close to his face.

Im not going to test the spray mechanism because with my luck there will be a backwind and ill be left writhing in agony vomiting and crying for help. I dont want to be like that so ill trust what the manufacturer says. Specifically the instructions note that the spray will cause this wonderful array of effects to the attacker : Inflammation of the eye capillaries and all other mucous membranes, resulting in immediate visual impairment, difficulty breathing, coughing, choking, sneezing, severe burning sensations to the eyes, nose, throat and skin, and nausea, with acute symptoms and discomfort lasting for up to 45 minutes. Sounds like the allergy attack from hell. I sure dont want to be blasted with the stuff.

Conclusion:

With careful observation and poking around I have determined this device to be precison and quality made. The ring doesnt seem flimsy like it would go off in your hand. I felt safe wearing it , I should have gotten a size smaller but thats my fault now isnt it. It was nice that it comes with the replaceable cartridge and hex wrench, also the instructions were very descriptive.

CONS

• Ring is kind of bulky hard to figure your size

• Doesnt look totally awesome

• Cant wear while driving, flying or operating machinery
